Lupita’s Kitchen: Branding a Lotería-Inspired Mexican Restaurant

Project Overview

Lupita’s Kitchen was a branding project for a traditional Mexican restaurant inspired by the vibrant visuals of the iconic Mexican card game, Lotería. I developed a comprehensive brand identity that spanned multiple mediums, including a hand-crafted logo, digital and print menus, business cards, food photography and social media graphics. The branding extended to custom-designed aprons, hats, a delivery car wrap, and salsa packaging, creating a cohesive and engaging brand presence.

A unique challenge in this project was the installation of a digital menu using software displayed on a television, an area I had never tackled before. By diving into new tools and learning on the go, I delivered a fully functional digital menu solution. The result was a visually compelling, fun, yet authentic dining experience that helped Lupita’s Kitchen establish itself in a brand-new location, capturing the essence of Mexican tradition while appealing to modern customers.
